PAT NEWCOMBE, CFP®

Pat is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has been helping clients make smart financial decisions for over 20 years.  He comes to Calder from TIAA-CREF where he was a Wealth Management Advisor since 2005.  One of his specialties is Retirement Income Planning. Helping clients optimize their Social Security income election is critical to that process. When it comes to Social Security (and Medicare), Pat is an absolute expert. He educates his clients and other Financial, Legal and Tax advisors about the complex issues and rules impacting Social Security income planning. He loves to help people save valuable time, avoid costly mistakes and get all they deserve.

Pat is a graduate of Aquinas College with a BA in Psychology. He also completed the CFP Board-Registered Education Program at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids.

Pat is a proud member of the Financial Planning Association and the Western Michigan Estate Planning Council. He also serves as a Board Member of the St. Alphonsus Parish Foundation in Grand Rapids, is active in Kiwanis and is a member and volunteer at the Community Media Center.
